In Dec. 2009, my wife and I started practicing Bikram Yoga after having it suggested to us by a work associate of hers. He told us of the many benefits that it offered and would truly compliment what my wife and I were doing at that time which was running and weight lifting, and he was correct.
Bikram Yoga heals the body both physically and mentally. It’s a 90-minute opened eyed meditation that strengthens the entire body through yoga asanas in a sequence that is designed for everyone from beginner to experienced practitioners.
The Bikram Yoga has helped me to become more focused and maintain a better awareness to create more positive experiences.
My favorite posture is the camel. This posture allows you to experience a complete connection with your body by utilizing your breathe in a deep supported backbend.
